Mackenzie moved to town part way through grade ten, about a year ago. When she first arrived, this fake-ginger was a selective mute and wanted nothing more than to move back to her hometown. However, things have changed. She found her niche in the Theatre geeks, discovering a love for Technical Theatre. Slowly, Mackenzie is coming out of her shell, and showing more of the girl she hopes to be. The past is starting to stay in the past; her hometown, the nightmare that was her life up north, all of it. Mackenzie's goal is simply to finish her high school years, but to make the best of what left of them. She still have her issues, especially with commitment; no matter how much she wants to be friends with someone, she's afraid that it'll go badly. What exactly happened up north that made this mysterious girl so unstable?
